CLASSES
Aqua fitness is a high quality workout. It offers both resistance training to strengthen and tone muscles, as water is approximately twelve times denser than air, and cardio to improve endurance. Pushing through the water is also a great core workout, helping with that critical inner strength we all need for everyday. There is less impact working in the water so less strain on tendons and joints making it great for those returning to exercise or recovering from an injury.
In an aqua class you will use a wide range of movement in different planes of motion rather than repetitive action used in swimming, and by using the resistance of the water, can easily adjust to work at the rate best for you.
